Help, WAX says I’m out of RAM!

With the release of Topps Garbage Pail Kids on WAX, a lot of people are finding themselves confused about how to use WAX and the market. This is a quick guide to help when the inevitable “Not Enough RAM” message happens.

The basic theory behind WAX is that you buy/stake resources to use the WAX chain.

My WAX resources

At this point, most people can ignore CPU and NET, but RAM will interfere with the market. It limits how many items you can list and has an impact on claiming items. I first encountered the “not enough RAM” message when I tried to list my third card on the market. Fortunately the fix is easy and inexpensive.

STEP ONE: Head to the WAX dashboard

Topps makes you sign up for WAX, but they don’t clearly direct you to your wallet preferring you view your collecting inside their website. You can access your WAX wallet here: https://all-access.wax.io/dashboard

STEP TWO: View your Resources

Once you are at your dashboard, click on the “Resources” button to expand and view your resources. You will then see three pie charts for your RAM, CPU and NET usage.

STEP THREE: Buy More RAM

Simply move the “Buy RAM” slider a TINY bit and then click buy. I found that spending 1 WAX was more than enough for all my trading needs, but depending on how active you are, you might need more.

STEP FOUR: You’re all done!

Once the transaction is processed you are all set. You should be able to continue using the market without running out of RAM.

Hopefully you found this helpful. Remember to like and subscribe if you want more WAX, Topps, or GPK content from me.

Happy shopping!
