To those just joining now, this is the second article in my Meet the Guardians series. You can view the first one here. Chain Guardians is an upcoming anime and cryptocurrency/blockchain inspired turn based strategy game. Though it is a crypto inspired game, for the most part it looks and plays like a traditional game.
Today I wanted to introduce the poster girl of the Chain Guardian’s game Bitsee. Due to being the first Guardian to awaken in the universe she is the most powerful and she has the most backstory released as well.

This sword wielding sweetheart represents planet Bitcoin. Bitsee’s primary element is fire, but if you view her stats on the website she appears to have Air, Psychic and Earth unlocked as well. She is extremely strong, with a power rating of 91/100. Common units tend to be in the 15/100 strange.
The reason that Bitsee can be so strong is that she is extremely rare and outside the budget of all but the most dedicated collectors. Its not game breaking when only a few people are able to have her. To put it into context, her number one printing is listed on opensea for 99ETH (~$14,000). When the crate sale begins, her character package will be selling for 20ETH (~$3000).
Don’t let her price scare you away from the game! Owning Bitsee, or any of the other guardians, simply puts the game into easy mode. The final game will be fully playable for FREE. There will be daily character drops, and playing will earn in game currency so that you can buy better characters.
To summarize her story, Bitsee was a normal kid when the Gatekeepers attacked. She survived and learned how to fight back, essentially starting the resistance movement on planet Bitcoin. As my summary doesn’t do her justice, I strongly recommend reading her backstory on the official site. They even have it in comic form!
