It took longer than planned, but I have finished seeding the bracket for the Winterball World Series. The results against the more realistic team, the Yankee Doodles, were much closer than those against the effectively pitcher-less Red Shoes. I expect best of three games between players will be much closer and look forward to how they play out.

NOTES
- The last column for each statblock is RBIs not Walks. There was an extra tab and it wasn’t worth the effort to replace all the pictures.
- There is currently a display bug where both DH’s and RP’s show up as Relief Pitchers. That is fixed so the correct position should be shown for Game 1.
- I am going to improve the output readability a bit before running the games.
- I hope to run Game 1 tonight, but depending on the output fixes it may get delayed.
The Averagers
This team is the “Average” team based on the entries. I took the most common players in each position, and using my figures built a team using them. It is surprising they did so well considering they are mostly lower rarity than every other team. That being said, subsequent runs revealed that they just got really lucky. They were on par with the other teams scores after the first run. My personal bet is they will be eliminated fairly quickly though I give them roughly even odds against the Bombers.

Rusty Kuntz
The RK had a pretty rough game against the Yankee Doodles, a 9th inning Grand Slam by Aaron Judge almost stealing the win from them.

Surface2AirMissile
S2AM lived up to their name again by blowing away the competition. My money is on them crushing MoZero, but in a best of three series we may see some surprises.

MoZero is definitely the underdog when it comes to their match, but I expect them to squeak out at least one win.

The UnNamed
The biggest weakness for this team, aside from not being named, seems to be they give up a lot of runs. I’ll be curious to see if its due to their pitching, fielding, or just bad luck. My prediction is The Reds will sweep them unless they adapt game two.

Moe
I expect good things from our number two seed, especially since they are facing off against my own team first round. I will be looking at the game one results VERY closely to see if there is anyway to salvage the match, but I expect Moe will swiftly eliminate The Code Monkeys.

My team has been horribly under performing. I expect them to be eliminated the first round. In the interest of fairness / full disclosure, I will openly share any changes I make to them between games. Our number three seed, and I expect good things from them. That being said, after such a stunning game, I ran a couple test games afterwards and they had more reasonable results. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if they went all the way!

Honestly, I feel bad for them being paired against MMRP. The odds are against them, but baseball can surprise you. They seem to have a strong defense, but the question is, will it be strong enough?

VERY glad to be done with the seeding, its a lot of work formatting the results for 16 teams! I’m spending so much time just getting everything published that I don’t get to look closely at any of the games.
