I just finished watching The A List on Netflix. It is a British Teen Drama which seems to draw a lot of inspiration from LOST. Though the characters weren’t exactly likable, the plot and setting was interesting enough to keep me watching. The season consist of the 13 half hour long episodes.
Typically I would write a review about the series itself before posting season two predictions, but I was very annoyed by the end of season cliffhanger. They could have nicely wrapped everything up, but instead they threw more questions our way.
That being said, if its renewed I’m pretty sure how the next season will go.
SPOILER ALERT — DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE SERIES

- The villain of Season One, Amber, loses are powers and becomes an ally. This is the easiest way to live up to the “Teen Drama” genre.
- Midge, who we finally met at the end of the season, will eventually be revealed as a villain. If the series is popular enough, this is likely to be the season 2 cliffhanger.
- The rescue party will actually be a research party. They will also serve as the primary antagonist in season 2.
- A “dark secret” about Mia will be revealed. This will probably explain both why she was Amber’s target and why she couldn’t be controlled.
- Mind-control free Relationship Drama. Luka effectively declared Dev his rival for Mia already. Amber isn’t going to give up on Dev. Petal and Alex’s relationship needs to be resolved.
- We may learn the campers never left the island. If a simple google search was enough to reveal that the camp was closed, only the most negligent of parents would send their children back, yet everyone who was there last year was there again this year. Either its an absurdly powerful organization behind the test, the campers never left, or the campers are actually clones.
- We learn Luka’s crime, probably as part of relationship drama. We also learn that he is “infected” by the plants because of his injury. That may even be why he saved Mia.
